Supertract is an hemostatic retraction paste formulated for the temporary displacement of gingival tissue and drying of the sulcus during restorative and impression procedures.
Supertract ensures precise, mess-free application and efficient sulcus management — all in just 2 minutes.
✔ Paste-type alternative to retraction cords
✔ Effective in both analog and digital workflows
✔ Combines tissue deflection and hemostasis in one step
Supertract streamlines gingival management with AlCl₃ and Kaolin retraction paste in a precise unit-dose format for complete, controlled extrusion. Its balanced viscosity opens and dries the sulcus in about 2 minutes and rinses away cleanly.
Note — Atraumatic Tip The rounded, atraumatic capsule tip is designed to seat in the sulcus without cutting or lacerating tissue when used as directed
Maximum Efficiency
Precise unit-dose format
Adequate viscosity promotes sulcus expansion without trauma
Contains Aluminum Chloride and Kaolin for effective hemostasis
Up to 5 teeth per capsule, but do not reuse across patients
Fast and Easy
Only 2 minutes needed for sulcus to open, dry, and displace
Not technique-sensitive
Easily removed with air-water spray and suction
Safe and Painless
Atraumatic, rounded capsule tip seats in the sulcus without cutting or lacerating tissue when used as directed.
Gentle pressure minimizes risk to epithelial attachment or alveolar bone.
No anesthesia needed — enhancing patient comfort.
Mulipurpose Indications
Taking impressions (conventional or digital)
Cementation of temporary and permanent restorations.
Preparation of Class II and V fillings.
CAD/CAM scanning workflows
Engineered for modern clinical needs, Supertract delivers precise sulcus retraction in a clean, single-use capsule. Every aspect — from its tip design to dosage — is optimized for safety, efficiency, and ease of use.
2-Minute Retraction and Hemostasis Protocol
Apply to the sulcus, allow ~2 minutes for displacement and drying, then rinse thoroughly and confirm the site is residue-free.

step 1
Rinse and air dry the prepared tooth Insert the capsule into a universial dispensing gun.

step 2
Position the capsule tip snugly inside the gingival sulcus, keeping light contact with the sulcus wall. Extrude Supertract slowly and evenly around the margin until the sulcus is slightly overfilled—avoid excessive pressure. May be used alone or in combination with retraction cords or other retraction methods.
Note — Atraumatic Tip The rounded, atraumatic capsule tip is designed to seat in the sulcus without cutting or lacerating tissue when used as directed.

STEP 3
Allow ~2 minutes for sulcular displacement, drying, and hemostasis. Keep the field isolated and do not direct air or suction onto the paste until the contact time is complete. After the contact time, remove Supertract completely from the sulcus using a mixture of air and water, with the aid of a suction device.Rinse and aspirate until the sulcus is clean and dry. Do not exceed the recommended contact time (2 minutes).

STEP 4
Examine the site to confirm hemostasis and the complete removal of any residual Supertract. Rinse and suction until the sulcus is clean and dry, then proceed to the next clinical step (impression, cementation, etc.).
